   Like any excited teenager, our son picked up the drone, took it outside, played with it for a few minutes before deciding to find out how high it would go. Screw instructions because what kid reads instructions? Ugh. We live in the woods but we have a little clearing perfect for hunting, 4 wheeling or whatever. Well, teenager flew drone up, lost connection and now it’s nowhere to be found. It doesn’t have any beep, no light that stays on, nothing. I was doing dishes when he went outside and I could see him out of our front windows playing in the driveway with it so I went back to doing dishes and figured we’d go over how to actually operate it when he came back in. So, long story short, it’s gone, probably forever. Fun 10 minutes for him though! And this is why we can’t have nice things. We need a beep for when it loses connection! Even Apple Air pods have a beep to find them!

   The WeFone 12 drone is an amazing product. This is a great drone to buy for kids, as a trainer, or just for fun. At its low price point, it provides a cost-effective alternative to other drones of the same quality. To begin the drone is extremely light and doesn’t weigh much. Upon opening the drone box I was astonished by what I saw the drone comes with a nice carrying case and is amazing quality for its price. The quadcopter drone has two batteries that provide a good amount of flight time. Inside the drone case, you will find spare propellers, propellor guards, and a high-quality remote. I love the propellor guards with this product because it adds a layer of safety and is an important feature when buying a drone for a kid. It is so easy and simple to set up the drone and start flying. When the drone is first turned it lights up and is one of the best-looking drones I have ever seen. The controls are so smooth and the quadcopter drone is so easy to fly that anyone could learn. This drone is so easy and fun to fly. The 360 flip mode is so enjoyable to do and this feature makes this product that much better. The camera quality is extremely good for the price of the drone and the convenient app displays the picture well. Overall this is an amazing drone for the price you are paying it holds its position and altitude very well and is one if not the best drone for beginners on the market. It is great for kids or even for buying a drone to fly and have fun with. I would highly recommend this product WeFone has truly created a masterpiece with this incredible product!

   There’s a lot of drone for the money here. You get two batteries, a carry case, some spare blades, instructions, and the drone itself. The drone is easy to set up once the batteries are charged you can be up and flying in minutes. The drone flies well- very stable and easy to control with it’s intuitive transmitter (if you play video games, you can fly this). It’s actually fairly quiet in flight, and I get close to 20 minutes of flight time on one battery as long as you are doing minimal maneuvering. This drone is quite slow however, but it’s not a racing drone so don’t expect speed. I have no idea of this drone’s true range however, but with no external antenna on the transmitter I imagine it’s semi short.
   This connects to a smartphone as well to be able to use FPV features as well. This works decently as well- video can be a little choppy especially as the drone gets farther away from the transmitter. Also, since the FPV feature is reliant on a smartphone app, if the app stops being updated someday then you might possibly lose this feature. But that’s a problem for the future.
   Overall, this is a good budget drone. I don’t recommend it for kids as it’s a little to complex for them to set up, but for a cheap toy for adults it’s great.
