I bought the Mavic 2 Zoom with DJI Care Refresh together as a bundle so I thought my drone came with extra coverage since it came together and I paid for it. Even if you buy a drone with Care Refresh it doesn’t have Care Refresh unless you register it. I never received an e-mail or any kind of notification telling me to do so. DJI said I should have gotten one but I did not. I just assumed the coverage was already in place. My drone is less than a month old and I crashed it (my fault) but DJI will not honor the extra coverage that I paid for since I didn’t activate it. Now I have to buy another drone because I don’t want to deal with having it repaired and I’m fairly certain the repair cost would be very close to replacement cost anyway. Even if you buy a drone with DJI Care Refresh MAKE SURE you register it within 48 hours or it could cost you a lot of money.
