The Avata 2 is a cool little drone. It definitely flies/feels different than the Inspire or Mavic series. This drone is very quiet too! I was a little nervous at first since I’m used to having a standard controller and I’m able to see what the drone sees plus where it is. The motion controller is easy to learn and is super light too. Getting used to the goggles is another thing for me especially with not seeing the drone and it’s surroundings through the naked eye. I’ve never flown FPV but 23 mins (20 realistically) versus 3-7 minutes is great to me. Do yourself a favor and get the kit with 3 batteries or you’ll be mad at yourself like me right now lol. Pictured is my Mavic 3 next to the Avata 2 for a size comparison. Although they look similar in size, believe me when I say the little guy can fly just about anywhere.

I am a beginner to drones, but have been blown away by the Avata 2.
The goggle quality during flight is very good with no noticeable latency in picture. Flight time is long enough that by the time it hits 25% and gives low battery warnings, I’m about ready to take a break. The 4k 60-100fps video is really something to behold.
Matched with the DJI Controller 3 and a few hours in a simulator, manual flight was a simple adjustment. Have been very impressed with the product and experience.

The DJI Avata 2 is an amazing drone! I’m a beginner when it comes to FPV, and this unit made the learning curve very easy. I’ve handed the RC Motion 3 remote to several members of my family, and they all could fly it immediately (with caution, of course). The Goggles 3 are great too. I’ve loved showing others my recorded flight footage in them. The bundle I got from Adorama included a landing pad and micro SD card all for the same retail price of $999.00 (direct from DJI usually includes only drone, remote and goggles with one battery). Both extra items are very useful. I’m please with my purchase and impressed with the quality and performance. This isn’t a budget drone, but the retail price is worth it for all that is included. I shopped around for a while looking for a deal, and thought I found a few, but they turned out to be scams. Watch out for the “too good to be true” deals. Unfortunately, there seem to be a lot of scams on these drones. I look forward to upgrading to the FPV RC3 and buying more batteries when budget allows. For now, I’m getting about 15 min. flight time before it wants to auto land for low battery. Not bad compared to other options out there. Thanks DJI and Adorama! This one is a home run!

If you’re good with video games, you’ll be good with this flies. So well it has a low setting in a high setting which I’m an old man. I have to use the low setting my son. He uses the high. He flies to post things everywhere, so it’s very fun. I think you would enjoy it if you ever bought one.
