Flew three times before the battery stopped holding a charge. Fourth flight was very short before battery died. Fifth flight and the drone lights flashed battery dead upon insertion.

It’s a bit like a helium balloon… You’ll have it an hour before it just floats away.
Had fun with it in the first charge, took some neat videos. Charged it up to take it out again and the second time out it immediately climbed straight up and flew away. The emergency cutoff didn’t work and it didn’t respond to any controls… Just flew away, never to be seen again.

If you are just starting out with drones, this is the way to go. Once I had decided to make flying drones a hobby, my thought process was to buy an inexpensive drone, learn to fly it, and once I had mastered that, buy a more expensive drone. After sending back two other drones (each under $100) I had came to the conclusion that maybe flying drones was not for me. Each drone had problems with reliability and was NOTHING as stated in the description. Then I saw this one. After reading up on it I decided to give drones one more try. And I am glad I did. This drone has sold me on drones. Its responsive, forgiving, rock solid in performance but best of all it has a “panic” button (as I call it). If you ever feel like things are getting a little out of control, you just press the ascend/descend button and it will gently land itself. Same goes if it gets out of range. It will gently land itself and the lights will flash until the battery runs out. This so you can find it. I have luckily never had to use that feature but I know others that have. Battery life is great. I have flown it up to 30 minutes. The best part is that you can get replacement batteries and other parts fairly cheap. I hate to say this but I love this drone so much that I will be sad when I move on to bigger and better ones. But I will keep this one and fly it now and then to remember old times.
